Owls Head: Colon A. Tinker, 73, husband of Ada Conary Tinker, died Jan 21 at his Ingraham Hill home. He had been plant foreman at F. J. O'Hara's for the past 35 years. Born on July 26, 1905 at Swan's Island, he was the son of Raymond and Nettie McKay Tinker. Besides his widow of Owls Head, Mr. Tinker is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Julian (Charlene) Oliver of Owls Head; a grandson, Richard Oliver; two brothers, Harvey and Henry Tinker, both of Owls Head; two sisters, Mrs. Ella Davis of Southwest Harbor and Mrs. Zulma Higgins of Swan's Island; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Tinker was a member of the Rockland Lodge of Elks. The funeral was Wednesday from the Burpee Funeral Home, Rockland, with interment at the Rose Hill Cemetery, Swan's Island. Colon was buried in Rose Hill cemetery, Atlantic. Colon A. Tinker and Ada Madeline Conary were married on 24 January 1925 in Swan's Island, Hancock County, Maine, USA. Ada Madeline Conary was born on 27 June 1909 in Swan's Island, Hancock County, Maine, USA. She died on 26 June 2000 in Rockport, Knox County, Maine, USA. Colon A.
