Served as a corporal in World War I, 101 Supply TN 6 Div.

Lester David Kent and Myrtle Hazel Clara Gott were married on 21 September 1919 in Camden, Knox County, Maine, USA. Myrtle Hazel Clara Gott was born on 12 December 1897 in Swan's Island, Hancock County, Maine, USA. Birth attended by Dr. H. W. Small. Weight 9 pounds. Mother 42 years of age and had been 18 years since last birth. She died on 30 October 1968 in Ellsworth, Hancock County, Maine, USA. MYRTLE KENT
Swan's Island: Mrs. Myrtle C. Kent, 70, died Wednesday in an Ellsworth hospital.
She was born here Dec. 12, 1897, the daughter of John and Clara (Bridges) Gott.
She was a member of the Advent Christian Church of Minturn.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Lurla Montague of Portland; one son, Lester of Swan's Island; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at the Advent Christian Church Saturday at 12:30 p.m. with the Rev. Raymond Brown officiating. Burial will be in the Grindle Hill Cemetery. She was buried on 2 November 1968 in Grindle Hill cemetery, Swan's Island.
