16. Capt. Solomon Barbour was born on 25 May 1815 in Deer Isle, Hancock County, Maine, USA. In 1881 he was a Farmer in Swan's Island, Hancock County, Maine, USA. He died on 23 August 1896 in Swan's Island, Hancock County, Maine, USA. Solomon was buried in Rose Hill cemetery, Atlantic. A cooper by trade. Moved from Deer Isle to Swan's Island in 1843 where he built and operated a store.

Harriet N. Staples was born on 20 August 1825 in Swan's Island, Hancock County, Maine, USA. She died in 1907 in Swan's Island, Hancock County, Maine, USA. She was buried in Rose Hill cemetery, Atlantic.
