Rockland: Nina M. Sprague: 83, widow of James W. Sprague of Rockland, formerly of Swan's Island, died June 5, at a Camden nursing home after a long illness. She was born at Atlantic, Swan's Island, May 11, 1891, the daughter of Albert and Lucy (Joyce) Staples. She operated the Stanley House in Rockland for many years. She is survived by two sons, Myron A. Sprague and Maurice B. Sprague, both of Swan's Island; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, 1 p.m., Carpenter Funeral Home, Rockland, the Rev. Charles R. Montieth officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery, Atlantic, Swan's Island. She was buried on 8 June 1974 in Rose Hill cemetery, Atlantic. She ran a boarding house in Rockland following her husband's death. The Stanley House near the art museum.
