Mrs. Vira E. Sprague, 73, widow of William F. Sprague of Rockland and formerly of Minturn, died Saturday at a Camden hospital after a long illness.
Born at Minturn on Oct. 17, 1901, she was the daughter of Hiram and Mary Stanley.
She was a member of the Minturn Advent Christian Church.
Survivors include a son, Milton W. Sprague, Sr. of Rockland; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at the Minturn Advent Christian Church with the Rev. Albert Currier officiating. Burial will be at Grnidle Hill Cemetery, Swan's Island.
Friends may call at the Carpenter Funeral Home on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. She was buried on 12 August 1975 in Grindle Hill cemetery, Swan's Island.

Vira E. Stanley and Willie Frederick Sprague were married on 14 January 1922 in Swan's Island, Hancock County, Maine, USA. Willie Frederick Sprague was born on 9 November 1878 in Swan's Island, Hancock County, Maine, USA. His obituaryhas date of birth as: 11 nov 1874.
