She is survived by a sister, Priscilla Gray of Scarborough; two sons, William Barter and his wife, Bernadine and Wayne Barter and his wife, Dianne all of Isle au Haut, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held 12 noon Sept. 17, 2002, at Mt. Adams Cemetery in Deer Isle. Donations in her memory may be made to Eastern Maine Dialysis in Ellsworth or to the Isle au Haut Congregational Church. She was buried on 17 September 2002 in Mount Adam cemetery, Deer Isle.
