Camden; Forrest B. Stanley, 69, of Camden formerly of Swan's Island, died Monday at a Portland hospital from injuries suffered in a recent auto accident.
Stanley was a passenger in a vehicle operated by Harry Stewart of Union on Dec. 5 when the Stewart vehicle collided with another auto at the intersection of Routes 17 and 235 in Union, according to state police.
He was born at Swan's Island, Jan. 31, 1891, the son of Lewis B. and Eliza (Greenlaw) Stanley.
He was a resident of Swan's Island for most of his life and had been employed for many years by the Portland Shipyard.
He is survived by a sister and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Laite Funeral Home, Camden. Burial will be in Amsbury Cemetery, Rockport. He was buried in Amesbury Hill cemetery, Rockport, Maine.

Forrest Stanley and Flora Olive Davis were married. Unmarried. Flora Olive Davis was born on 9 April 1901 in Frenchboro, Hancock County, Maine, USA. She died after January 1979.
