Bridges, formerly of 32 Salem Street, died Thursday at a local hospital after a long illness. She was born in Kingsboro, Mass., Sept 26, 1881, daughter of George and Josie Fitzgerald McKenzie. She attended schools in Massachusetts. Mrs. Bridges had lived here for 61 years. She was employed by several local families and also by the Peacock Canning Co. Mr. Bridges died in 1933. She is survived by three sons, Alton of St. Petersburg, Fla., Dallas of Hempstead, N. Y., and Stanley of Scarborough; two daughters, Mrs. James (Georgie) Martin of Bowie, Md. and Mrs. Alve (Beulah) Michaud of Kennebunkport, and 19 grandchildren. funeral services will be held at 10 am Monday at 749 Congress St. with interment in Forest City Cemetery, South Portland.
