16. Deacon Charles Gott Sr. was born on 12 March 1598 in Brokenbury, England. He immigrated in 1628 to Ship 'Abigail'. He died on 23 January 1667 at the age of 68 in Wenham, Massachusetts, USA. Came to America on 'Abigail' on voyage of Jun 20 1628 through Sept 6 1628.
Arrived at Naumkeag (Salem). Came with Capt. William Trask & others, including Gov. John Endicott. Martha Jane (Sarah) Carter and Deacon Charles Gott Sr. were married about 1636. They were married about 1636 in Cambridge, England. At St. Andrew the Great.

17. Martha Jane (Sarah) Carter was born in 1601. She died on 8 August 1665 at the age of 64 in Wenham, Massachusetts, USA. This spouse also named 'Gift Palmer'. Date of marriage is the same for each. Children are the same.
