Ada B. Rice, 91, died Nov. 29 [2002] at an Ellsworth health-care facility. She was born Dec. 5, 1910 in Cranberry Isle, the daughter of Elisha G <http://cranberryisles.com/photos/elisha_bunker.html>. and Annie L (Spurling) Bunker <http://cranberryisles.com/photos/elisha_bunker.html>. Ada attended Bar Harbor Schools.

She loved horses and took riding lessons in Bar Harbor. She had the pleasure of owning two horses in her late years. For many many years, Ada owned and operated Cranberry Cove Restaurant with her sister Leona.

She attended the Cranberry Isle Congregational Church.

Ada is survived by three sisters, Leona MacAllister of Ellsworth, Polly Bunker and Charlene Allen, both of Cranberry Isle; two nieces and two nephews.

Graveside services will be held in the spring. If friends wish, they may make donations in Ada's memory to the Cranberry Isle Fire Department, c/o Mike Westphal, Cranberry Isle 04625. Arrangements by Fernald Funeral Chapel, Mount Desert.
