Rockland: Guy F. Stockbridge, 76, of 139 Main Street, died early Monday at an Augusta hospital.
He was born on July 14, 1892, at Swan's Island, the son of John and Carrie (Staples) Stockbridge, was retired from the Merchant Marine, and was a member of the Knights of Pythias at Thomaston.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Helen (Skinner) Stockbridge of Rockland; two daughters, Mrs. Patricia Linden of Camden, Mrs. Mary Glidden of Rockland; three sons, John Stockbridge of the U.S. Air Force, Kenneth Stockbridge of Camden, and Arthur Stockbridge of Union; and several grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Russell Funeral Home, Rockland, with the Rev. Harry Starbuck officiating. Burial will be at Sea View Cemetery, Rockland. He was buried in Seaview cemetery, Rockland.

Hilda S. Stockbridge, 92, of Appleton, passed away on Feb. 9 at her home in Appleton.
Hilda was born on March 4, 1909 in Appleton, the daughter of Zerah and Carrie Hemmenway Robbins.

She graduated from Appleton High School in 1928. She worked at the Penobscot Poultry Co. in the early 70s, and North Lubec Canning Co. for several years. She was a member of the Pioneer Grange, Pomona as well as State and National Granges. She also enjoyed crocheting and knitting in her spare time.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Patricia Linden of Camden, and son Arthur Stockbridge of Appleton. She is survived by sons; Kenneth Stockbridge and his wife Janice of Appleton, John Stockbridge and his wife, Wilma of Wanette, Okla. and daughter, Mable Pease of Appleton, six grandchildren, and several grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.





There will be no service at Hilda’s request. There will be a family gathering at Pine Grove Cemetery in the spring. Donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, Maine Division, Inc., 52 Federal St., Brunswick, 04011.

Hilda S. Stockbridge, 92, of Appleton, passed away on Feb. 9 at her home in Appleton.
Hilda was born on March 4, 1909 in Appleton, the daughter of Zerah and Carrie Hemmenway Robbins.
