He was born at Swan's Island, July 10, 1896. Mr. Bridges attended Swan's Island schools and came to Portland in 1919. He had most recently been employed with the Central Wallpaper Co., retiring eight years ago. Mr. Bridges was an Army veteran of World War 1. Survivors include two sons, Norman and Bud, both of Portland; two stepsons, Victor Cipriano and Joseph Cipriano, both of Portland; Stepdaughters, Mrs. Josephone Verrill, Mrs. Lillian McIntosh and Mrs. Mary Giglio, all of Portland; three brothers, Dallas and Elton, both of Florida and Stanley of Portland; four sisters, Mrs. Lilla Moulden of Swan's Island, Mrs. Carrie McDonald of Stonington, Mrs. George Marden of Florida and Mrs. Beulah Michaud of Kennebunk; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Wednesday at 749 congress St. Interment will be in Forest city Cemetery. Maynard was buried in Forest City cemetery, South Portland. He was a Painter.
