NEWBURGH AND WINTER HARBOR - Milton F. Torrey Jr. passed away Dec. 1, 2002 at his home in Newburgh. He was born Oct. 6, 1924, at Trenton, the son of Milton F. Torrey Sr. and Bertha Torrey Bickford. He was a past member of the Winter Harbor board of selectmen as well as a past member of the Newburgh board of selectmen. He was founder and co-owner of MCM Construction Co. of Newburgh. He is survived by his wife, Gertrude A. Torrey of Newburgh; three sons, Bruce W. Torrey and his wife, Sylvia of Overton, Nev., Cameron A. Torrey and his wife, Mary of Hampden, Milton F. Torrey II and his wife, April of Newburgh; grandchildren, Bruce W. Torrey Jr., Angel H. Torrey, Amanda and Derek Mandigo, Roscoe "RJ" Torrey; one great-granddaughter, Brianna Torrey; and one sister, Agnes Campbell. He will be lovingly missed by his family and friends. A private service will be held Dec. 4, 2002. Interment will be at Lake View Cemetery, Hampden. Memorial contributions may be made to the Milton F.
