350	i.	Clarence E. "Bob" Warren was born on 6 May 1926 in Vinalhaven, Knox County, Maine, USA. He died on 11 December 2007 in Rockport, Knox County, Maine, USA. VINALHAVEN (Dec 13): Clarence E. "Bub" Warren, 81, died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2007 at Penobscot Bay Medical Center in Rockport. Born on Vinalhaven, May 6, 1926, he was the son of Leland, Sr. and Ethel Smith Warren. Clarence was educated in Vinalhaven schools. A life-long resident of Vinalhaven, Mr. Warren spent his life working on the ocean as a lobsterman. He was a member of the Moses-Webster Lodge of Masons, Vinalhaven. He also served as a Town Selectman for eight years. He was an avid hunter, and his family remembers him as a gentle man who helped many people. For many years he cared for his parents while they resided with him in his home. Predeceased by a brother Herbert Warren, two sisters Thelma Ames, Alice Warren, two nephews, Carl and Ricky; Mr. Warren is survived by two brothers, Leland Warren, Jr., Arthur Warren and his wife Peggy all of Vinalhaven; two sisters, Beverly Crouse of Strasburg, Ohio, Sandra Hall and here husband William of Vinalhaven; 23 nieces and nephews, Debbie, Lee, Jeannie-Elaine, David, Kathy, Warren, Danny, Randy, Melody, Sheri, Lisa, Sharon, Ernie, Dennis, Donna, Susie, Barbara, Linda, Wayne, Wanda, Susie, Darren, and Steven, as well as many great-nieces and great-nephews. A graveside service at Browns Head Cemetery, Vinalhaven will be announced in the spring. Arrangements are in the care of Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock Street, Rockland. He was buried spring 2008 in Brown's Head cemetery, Vinalhaven, Maine.
