Snow-Hall Company in Rockland, as an oil burner technician. For many years, Juke worked at F. J. O’Hara & Sons, Rockland, retiring in 1982. June 27, 1962, he married Charlene M. Tinker in Port Clyde. His family said that Mr. Oliver loved people, telling stories, rabbit and bird hunting, dancing and treasure hunting with his metal detector. Besides his wife, Mr. Oliver is survived by two sons, Floyd H. Oliver and his companion Patricia Hornsberger, Richard D. Oliver and his wife Debra all of Owls Head; a daughter, Julianne R. Hyatt and her husband Paul of Lincolnville; a daughter-in-law, Karen Oliver of Rockland; one brother, Maxwell "Bill" Oliver and his wife Virginia of Rockland; ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Private funeral services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Bob Gagnon Cancer Care Fund, C/O Northeast Health, 22 White Street, Rockland 04841.
