26. Elizabeth "Betsey" Smith³ was born on 14 March 1819 in Swan's Island, Hancock County, Maine, USA. She died on 27 December 1888 in Swan's Island, Hancock County, Maine, USA.⁴ She was buried in Grindle Hill cemetery, Swan's Island. Betsey and Edmund had been going together quite a while before they found out they were cousins but by then it was too late to care.
