304. Joanne Chandler⁸⁴ was born on 9 February 1939 in Stonington, Hancock County, Maine, USA. She died on 14 November 1998 in Burlington, Chittenden County, Vermont, USA. She was buried in Grindle Hill cemetery, Swan's Island. And while I was writing that, I remembered Joanne Chandler Brown is buried (or at least a stone is erected) out behind their camp. (Gwen May)

SWANS ISLAND and BURLINGTON, VT. - Joanne Chandler Brown, 59, died Nov. 14, 1998, in Burlington, Vt. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 14, at Swan's Island Methodist Church.
