Rockland: Mrs. Thelma G. Stanley, 83, widow of Herman Stanley, died Oct. 4 at a hospital here, after a brief illness. She was born at Winthrop, Mass., Dec. 30, 1891, daughter of Edward and Alice O'Keefe Robinson.. She was a fifty-year member of Pratt Memorial Methodist Church and taught Sunday School for 50 years. She was a member of the Baraca Class of the Church. She had been active in the school hot lunch program for many years. She is survived by two nephews, Curtis I. Robinson, Boothbay Harbor, and Richard F. Robinson of Connecticut; and several cousins. A funeral service will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Carpenter Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Chamberlin officiating. Burial will be in Achorn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, friends are requested if they wish to contribute to the Pratt Memorial Methodist Church Memorial Fund in her memory. She was buried in Achorn cemetery, Rockland.
