Swan's Island: Myron A. Sprague, Sr, 72, died unexpectedly at Swan's Island, Jan 6, 1984. He was born at Swan's Island, Nov. 7, 1911, the son of James and Nina (Staples) Sprague. He was a graduate of Rockland High School and a member of the Odd Fellows of Rockland. Myron was proprietor of the Harbor Cash Market on Swan's Island for many years. He was very active in civic affairs at Swan's Island and attended the Methodist Church. He is survived by his beloved wife, Bernice (Smith) Sprague of Swan's Island; two sons, Myron Sprague Jr. of Swan's Island and Daniel of Charleston; two daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Lucinda ) Lowell of Dexter and Mrs. Lester (Deborah) Hersey of Presque Isle; one brother, Maurice of Presque Isle, one niece, Janice Sprague of East Corinth; nine grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 12 p.m. Monday, Jan 9, at the Atlantic Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Wagner officiating. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Atlantic. Visitation may be made at the church from 9-11 a.m. Monday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House (Our House of Maine, Inc.), P.O.
