1. Joshua S. Trask was born about 1807 in Stillwater, Maine, USA. He died on 3 October 1851 in Lost at Sea. Lost at sea, Bay of Chaleur in great gale in 'Henry Clay', Capt. John Walls in command. He was buried in Rose Hill cemetery, Atlantic. Monument A Farmer & fisherman. Came from Stillwater, Maine about 1825. Lived at Frenchboro for a time. Lived on 'Trask Point' at Swan's Island. Lost at sea on schooner Henry Clay. A man of a considerable memory. Studied French history among other subjects. Taught school at Swan's Island.

Joshua S. Trask and Mary E. Staples were married on 31 March 1833 in Swan's Island, Hancock County, Maine, USA. Mary E. Staples was born on 14 April 1814 in Swan's Island, Hancock County, Maine, USA. She died on 30 November 1888 in Gott's Island, Maine, USA. She was buried in Gott's Island, Tremont, Maine, USA.¹ Had three 'Moore' children all of whom didn't reach adulthood.
