Rockport, April 21; Donald L. Joyce, 59, died suddenly at a camden hospital Wednesday night. He was born at Swan's Island, June 24, 1900, the son ofd Seth and Tina (Trask) Joyce.
Mr. Joyce had been in the lobster business for the past five years. Before that he operated his own dragger.He was a member of St. Paul's Lodge, A.F. and A. M.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Lina Joyce of Rockport; his mother Mrs. Tina Joyce of Swan's Island; a daughter, Mrs. Althea Jewett of Oakland; a brother, Charles Joyce of Stonington; and two grand children.
Funeral sercvices will held Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the Rockport Baptist Church, with Rev. Carl Small officiating.
Interment will be in the Amsbury Hill Cemetery, Rockport. He was buried in Amesbury Hill cemetery, Rockport, Maine. A fisherman.

Donald Linwood Joyce and Lina Mae Gordon were married on 8 June 1923 in Swan's Island, Hancock County, Maine, USA. Lina Mae Gordon was born on 15 July 1902 in Pembroke, Maine, USA. She died on 15 March 1991 in Waterville, Kennebec County, Maine, USA. She was buried in Amesbury Hill cemetery, Rockport, Maine.
