(Jan 8): John David Hall, 38, of Jefferson, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 8, 2004 at his sisters home in Union surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer.He was born in Rockville, Conn. on Dec. 14, 1965 the son of Kenneth and Juliette Hall of Somerville. He was a graduate of Medomak Valley High School. He was an avid outdoors man and belonged to the Jefferson-Nobleboro Snowmobile Club. He loved the outdoors, enjoying four wheeling, hunting, fishing and snowmobiling. He was employed at Bath Iron Works for 17 years. He took pride in building and maintaining his home. He was blessed with many friends especially Keith Calamore and Tom Hartford and Greg Reynolds who spent many hours helping him during his illness. Burial will be on Swan's Island. A celebration of his life will be announced later. In addition to his mother and father, John leaves behind a brother Gregory F. Hall and his wife Rebecca of Bowdoinham; a brother Kendall O. Hall and his wife Mona of Nobleboro; Bruce P. Hall of Bucksport; his sister Deborah E. Kennedy and her husband Dana of Union and three nieces and one nephew. If desired donations may be made to Miles Home Health and Hospice in John's Memory. Arrangements are under the care of Cremation Services of Maine, 182 Waldo Ave, Belfast.
