She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge of Southwest Harbor and the Tremont Ladies Aid. Surviving besides her husband, are a brother, Leland Trask of Rockland; three nephews and several cousins. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Fernalds Funeral Chapel, Mt. Desert with the Rev. Robert Loring officiating. Burial will be in Mount Height Cemetery in Southwest Harbor. Friends may call Monday from 2 to 3 and 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral chapel. She was buried in Mt. Height cemetery, Southwest Harbor. No children. Vera E. Trask and Charles H. Harding were married on 27 June 1906 in Swan's Island, Hancock County, Maine, USA. Charles H. Harding was born on 3 June 1883 in Gott's Island, Maine, USA. He was a Yachtsman. He was a Lobster Fisherman. Charles was a Caretaker in Gott's Island, Maine, USA. He died on 29 January 1972 in Bar Harbor Hospital, Maine, USA. CHARLES HARDING Bernard: Charles H. Harding, 88, died Jan. 29 in a Bar Harbor hospital. He was born at Gotts Island June 3, 1883, the son of William H. and Jennie (Lawson) Harding. Harding was a yachtsman, having skippered for summer residents for many years. During the off-season, he worked as a lobster fisherman. He was a member of the Tremont Congregational Church and the Southwest Harbor IOOF. Surviving are a brother, Clarence of Bernard; and three nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Fernald Funeral Chapel, Mount Desert. Spring burial will be in Mount Heights Cemetery, Southwest Harbor. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 2-4 p.m. He was buried spring 1972 in Mt. Height cemetery, Southwest Harbor. |
