Swan's Island: Austin Turner, 81, husband of Evelyn (Banks) Turner, died Dec. 9, 1980, at an Ellsworth hospital. He was born on Swan's Island, Aug, 5, 1899, the son of Fred and Augusta (Gott) Turner. He attended the Advent Christian Church for many years. Surviving besides his wife is one daughter, Marion Stinson of Minturn; a stepson, David Lawry, Sr. of Stonington; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Friday as Rose Hill Cemetery, Atlantic, with the Rev. Winslow Hall officiating. Arrangements by Fernald Funeral Chapel, Mount Desert. He was buried on 12 December 1980 in Rose Hill cemetery, Atlantic.

She died on 11 June 2000 in Swan's Island, Hancock County, Maine, USA. She was buried at Buried in front yard in Minturn.
