4. Courtney Babbidge Sr. was born in 1733 in Windham, Cumberland County, Maine, USA. He died on 13 June 1781 in Deer Isle, Hancock County, Maine, USA. He served in the military in Revolutionary War. Came to Deer Isle in 1773. Sarah Bibber and Courtney Babbidge Sr. were married on 2 December 1755 in North Yarmouth, Cumberland County, Maine, USA.

5. Sarah Bibber died about 1765 or 1766 in Merriconeag River, Harpswell. Drowned along with Son, likely William.

Children were:

	i.	William Babbidge was born on 22 May 1758 in Harpswell, Cumberland County, Maine, USA. He died about 1765 or 1766 in Merriconeag River, Harpswell. Drowned along with Mother Sarah. Lived in Widom.
	ii.	Courtney Babbidge Jr. was born on 17 October 1761. He served in the military in Revolutionary War. He died on 9 October 1834 in Vinalhaven, Knox County, Maine, USA. Courtney was buried in South Deer Isle, Hancock County, Maine, USA. Revolutionary war soldier. Lived on Babbidges Island off Vinalhaven from 1820 to 1834??
