8. James Babbidge was born in 1697 in Uffculme, Devonshire, England. Aslo have a birth date of 1768. Possible error? He died on 11 August 1768 in Harpswell, Cumberland County, Maine, USA. Date of death also reported as August 11, 1784. Came to America in about 1717. Margaret Forsythe and James Babbidge were married on 3 March 1725 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, USA.
