Rockland; Mrs. Helen F. Orcutt, 90, widow of Alfred E. Orcutt formerly of Vinalhaven, died Saturday in a Waldoboro nursing home after a long illness.
She was born at Swan's Island, Sept. 22, 1875, daughter of Harris J. and Clarissa (Bridges) Gott.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Helen Young of Rockland; a son Clyde F. Orcutt of Rockland; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Parker and Mrs. Myrtle Kent of Swan's Island, seven grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Russell Funeral Home at 1 p.m., Tuesday with the Rev. Cleaves Henderson officiating. Burial will be in the Cummings Cemetery at Vinalhaven. She was buried in Cummings cemetery, Vinalhaven. Who is Laverne H.?
