32. Wayne Arden Joyce was born on 30 April 1947. He served in the military in US Marines, Vietnam. He died on 6 May 2006 in Rockland, Knox County, Maine, USA. HOPE (May 8, 2006): Wayne Alden Joyce, 59, of Hope, died May 3, 2006 at Penobscot Bay Medical Center.
Born on April 30, 1947, Wayne was the son of Kilton Alden and Joyce Arlene (Simmons) Joyce. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the war in Vietnam.
Wayne worked as a painting contractor and owned his own business, Joyce Painting. He was a member of the American Legion Winslow-Holbrook-Merritt Post 1 in Rockland. His hobbies included household repairs, gardening, automobile model restoration, furniture restoration, woodworking, ice-skating, swimming and fishing. His family said his favorite car was the 1949 Mercury.
Wayne is survived by his mother, Joyce (Simmons) Knight of Warren; his two sons, Jason Joyce of Cromwell, Conn. and Jeffrey Joyce of Union; his daughter, Donna Tolli of Las Vegas, Nev.; his brother, Dale Knight of Portland; his half-sister, Brenda Berry and her husband Charles of Camden; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father; two sisters, Laurel Corbett and Nikki Pendleton; and his brother, Sterling Joyce.
A graveside service was held Monday, May 8, 2006 at the Upper Cemetery in Lincolnville. The Rev. Robin Honaker officiated.

Arrangements are with the Laite Funeral Home in Camden.
Wayne was buried on 8 May 2006 in Upper cemetery, Lincolnville. He was an Owner, Joyce Painting.
