Swan's Island; Mrs. Minnie L. Parker, 91, widow of Addison Parker, died Sunday at a Sullivan nursing home after a long illness.
She was born in Swan's Island, July 20, 1877, the daughter of John and Clara (Bridges) Gott.
She was a member of the Advent Christian Church and Rebekah Lodge both at Swan's Island.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Beatrice E. Simmons of Swan's Island; one son, Charles E. Parker of Cape Elizabeth; one sister, Mrs. Myrtle Kent of here; seven grandchildren, 25 great great-grandchildren, 20 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 12 noon at the Advent Christian Church with the Rev. Raymond Brown officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Swan's Island. Flowers may be sent to the Fernald Funeral Chapel, Mount Desert. She was buried on 30 July 1968 in Rose Hill cemetery, Atlantic. Middle name has been reported as Leona. Family says it is Lulu.
