Lilla Lunt Stanley, 68, widow of Ralph Stanley, of Frenchboro, died Oct. 3 at an Ellsworth hospital. She was the sister of Mrs. Catherine Poor of Vinalhaven. A native of Frenchboro born on July 8, 1908, she was the daughter of John and Flora Lunt Sr. She was a member of the Frenchboro Congregational Church and the Southwest Harbor Senior Citizens Club. She is survived by her mother, Flora Lunt of Southwest Harbor; five sisters, Miss Alma Lunt of Frenchboro, Mrs. Marguerite Stanley of Manset, Mrs. Mabel Hall of Westbrook, Mrs. Catherine Poor of Vinalhaven, Mrs. Pauline Perry of Rutherford, N. Y.; four brothers, Sanford, Cecil and John Lunt, Jr. all of Frenchboro and Clarence Lunt of Bar Harbor; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Oct 6, from the Fernald Funeral Chapel, Mt. Desert. Commital services were in Frenchboro. She was buried in Frenchboro, Hancock County, Maine, USA. A newspaper obituary said she is daughter of John & Flora Lunt Jr.
