ISLAND LIGHT COMMUNITY CHURCH would like to put on another concert this year. It is a fundraising event for needed repairs to the building. (electrical, insulation, ceiling replacement) DATE: Friday, August 22 The concert will be held at the Odd Fellows Hall; TIME: 7 PM We will be offering refreshments during a time of intermission. The content of the concert will be mostly upbeat, Contemporary Christian Music. However, with the addition of our new vocalist, we will branch out some-what into the certain popular music that offer a "real-life-help" story as lyrics. We also have several new original songs. ISLAND CONNECTIONS Island Connections seeks to provide free services to the elderly and people with disabilities on Mount Desert Island and the surrounding off-shore islands, including Swan's Island, that will enable them to live independently and with a strong quality of life.
